For providing maximum control of viable and non-viable particle contamination in cleanrooms and controlled environments, Alsico Iberia manufactures in accordance with IEST-RP-CC-003.5 and puts each garment to exhaustive testing to ensure that it complies with current regulations, in line with the requirements of GMP Annex 1. 

Sustainable clothing for cleanrooms.

As part of alsico , we believe that sustainability is a responsibility. That is why Alsico uses polyester made from bio-based fibres and fabrics made from recycled polyester bottles in cleanroom fabrics and responsibly grown cotton for clothing in maintenance areas and other not controlled zones. The Alsico group also counts with the Alsico Academy, an R&D&I centre dedicated to exploring sustainable fabric technology and design. Alsico Iberia is constantly looking for ways to improve energy efficiency in the production units and promote good environmental practices within the company.

Compared to disposable clothing options, reusable garments are the responsible and environmentally friendly choice. Reusable garments generate significantly less waste to dispose of. They require less energy consumption both in terms of supply and the garment's life cycle. In addition, they consume fewer natural resources, including more than 50% less water.
