In order to select the right type of wipe, it is necessary to define the process requirements:

• Is it necessary to apply large amounts of detergent or disinfectant to ensure high contact times?
• Is drying capacity required to eliminate accidental spillage?
• Is the emission of fibres or particles likely to be critical for the process?
• Does the wipe need to be abrasion resistant to withstand heavy mechanical work?
• Does the wipe need to be soft to avoid scratching sensitive surfaces?
• Is cleaning in stages required?
• Is it necessary to reduce the emission of volatile VOCs during the sanitising process?
